Carver County is a fast growing county and has been for several years. More people are choosing to live in Carver County than ever before. If current trends continue, Carver County is projected to have a population of 194,730 by the year 2030 — that’s more than double the current population estimate of 86,000.

Elected Officials

County Board of Commissioners
The Carver County Board of Commissioners is composed of five members, each of whom is elected from a geographic district. Terms are four years and they are staggered. The County Board meets every Tuesday at 9 a.m., with the exception of the fifth Tuesday of the month when there is no Board meeting. Meetings are held in the County Board Room, 2nd floor Human Services Building.
